THE THEORY OF « EVENTALISM »

5- WARS AND PEACE

  The theory of Eventalism rests on the principal that « a Nation’s History fits into a potential framework of the analogous destiny to that of its corresponding Nation’s History of 2 160 years earlier ». This framework implies for today’s Nations, the repetition of antagonisms experienced approximately 2 160 years earlier by their corresponding Nations.

  As such the causes of war are potentially predictable : they constitute an inexorable and unavoidable framework. These wars must happen : the winner and the loser are both predetermined, as the outcome of the war is part of the framework.

  But nothing prevents men from modifying the actual realization of the war : it can be a frightening holocaust, or on the contrary, a symbolic confrontation concluded by a treaty identical to the outcome of the framework. In as much, ROME and ALBE, whose destinies imposed their confrontation, chose a symbolic combat between the champions of each camp, the Horaces and the Curiaces, instead of a civil war which would have opposed the members of their communal families. Most importantly the rules of the game were respected after the fight : the loser accepted his defeat.

  Thus wars can not be exterminated : to think so would be utopic as it works against the Laws that govern our universe, and us with it. But wars may be controlled and managed to best benefit Mankind and Nations : in order to do this, man « simply » needs to be familiar with the rules of the Eventalism game and accept outcomes willingly and not have them imposed ! As a consequence, the minimization or even the neutralization of the destructive effects of wars between countries by « managing » their destinies increases the possibilities of Peace in our world.
